🎯 THE POSITION
This role is your gateway to a meaningful career in biopharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for performing critical manufacturing tasks in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and Roche’s quality policies. This is a train-and-place opportunity under Singapore’s Career Conversion Programme (CCP), designed to build the next generation of skilled talent for the biopharma industry.
đź“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⚙️ Manufacturing Operations & Compliance
- Execute assigned manufacturing tasks including equipment preparation, cleaning, sterilization, solution preparation, and operation of biochemical processing equipment.
- Adhere strictly to Safety, cGMP, and Biochemical Manufacturing guidelines at all times.
- Perform raw material sampling, dispensing, and environmental monitoring to ensure product quality and area cleanliness.
🔄 Process Support & Continuous Improvement
- Prioritize tasks and document all work accurately per approved manufacturing formulae.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Support process improvement initiatives and embrace the PT Lean Production System (LPS) to drive efficiency and quality.
🤝 Team Collaboration & Safety
- Participate in shift meetings and work closely with team members and cross-functional support groups.
- Operate computerized systems for process control and data entry.
- Ensure a safe working environment by complying with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements and promptly reporting incidents or hazards.
👤 YOUR PROFILE
âś… QUALIFICATIONS
- Fresh Graduate with a degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, OR a Diploma/NITEC holder in a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- No prior experience required—comprehensive training will be provided.
🎓 ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
This position is part of the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals, a 15-month train-and-place attachment jointly supported by Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the Workforce Advancement Federation (WAF). You will receive structured, hands-on training at Roche, equipping you with industry-ready skills for a long-term career in biomanufacturing.
