Lead complex clinical trials from your home base in Christchurch. ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate with extensive Oncology/Hematology expertise to manage clinical trial sites with minimal travel. In this home-based role embedded within our FSP partnership, you will ensure protocol adherence, data integrity, and patient safety while building strong site relationships and mentoring other CRAs.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the primary point of contact for clinical trial sites, ensuring excellence in monitoring and site management.
Site Management & Monitoring:
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to protocol, GCP standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve complex issues, and provide expert support for successful trial execution.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations.
Quality & Mentorship:
- Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of clinical trial conduct.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
- Leverage local site proximity to focus on comprehensive site management with reduced travel time.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, or related field.
- Extensive experience as a CRA with specific expertise in Oncology and/or Hematology clinical trials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills & Availability:
- Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% (domestic/international) with a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in clinical trial software and tools.
