🎯 Your Clinical Trial Leadership Mission: Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Trial Strategy & Execution
- Plan and manage all aspects of clinical trials from start-up through close-out, ensuring adherence to aggressive timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Data Management, Safety, Biostatistics) to establish, implement, and oversee clinical trial protocols and procedures.
- Problem-solve and make critical decisions regarding trial design adaptations, vendor selection, and comprehensive risk management to ensure study success.
Stakeholder & Site Relationship Management
- Build and manage strong, collaborative relationships with clinical trial investigators, site staff, and key stakeholders to drive patient recruitment, ensure site performance, and resolve issues proactively.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and the main point of contact for the study internally and externally.
Compliance, Quality & Delivery
- Ensure all trials are conducted in full compliance with ICH-GCP, local Chinese regulations (NMPA), and ethical guidelines.
- Drive the clinical deliverables of the study, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions to keep the trial on track.
- Oversee vendor management and performance to ensure seamless service delivery.
⭐ Your Profile: Clinical Trial Manager Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study, with proven experience in clinical trial management/project management within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company.
- Subject matter expertise in a designated therapeutic area (e.g., Oncology, Immunology, CNS, Cardiovascular).
- In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP and Chinese NMPA regulatory requirements.
- Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as required for site visits, investigator meetings, and internal meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Prior monitoring experience (CRA background) is highly preferred, providing a solid foundation in site-level operations.
- Experience managing clinical trials in China from start to finish.
