What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop, validate, and maintain complex statistical programs using SAS, R, or Python for data manipulation, analysis, and clinical study reporting.
- Collaborate with biostatisticians and data managers to interpret statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and ensure accurate implementation of methodologies.
- Prepare and review programming specifications, derived datasets (e.g., ADaM), and output (TFLs) to meet CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines, SOPs, and project-specific standards throughout the programming lifecycle.
- Mentor junior programmers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of team best practices and process improvements.
Your Profile: The Technical Expert with an Eye for Detail
You are a proficient programmer with a solid understanding of clinical data structures and a commitment to producing accurate, reproducible results.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a statistical programmer within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies used in clinical trials and CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).
- High proficiency in statistical programming languages, with SAS being essential; experience with R or Python is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with clinical data management systems and electronic data capture (EDC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
