We are seeking an accomplished Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our diverse team in China, based in Beijing. In this vital role, you will be the frontline expert ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of our clinical trials. You will oversee site performance, build key relationships, and serve as a mentor and guide, directly contributing to the successful delivery of studies that bring new treatments to patients.
Your Mission: Ensure Excellence at the Trial Site Level
You will be entrusted with the hands-on management and monitoring of clinical trial sites, acting as the primary liaison between ICON, the sponsor, and investigative staff.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive monitoring of clinical trial sites to ensure strict adherence to study protocols, ICH-GCP standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Perform site visits (selection, initiation, monitoring, close-out) to assess performance, resolve complex issues, and ensure high-quality data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Management, Data Management, Safety) to ensure timely and accurate data flow and reporting.
- Provide expert training, guidance, and mentorship to site staff and junior CRAs to elevate the standard of clinical trial conduct.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with investigators and site coordinators to drive patient recruitment and ensure smooth trial operations.
Your Profile: The Expert Monitor & Site Leader
You are a seasoned CRA who combines deep technical knowledge with outstanding interpersonal skills to drive site excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, or a related relevant field.
- Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a proven track record of successful site management.
- In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP, and local (China) regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously with superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in monitoring practices, source data verification, and ensuring data integrity.
- Proficiency in clinical trial software and EDC systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive compliance.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time (domestic and international – fly and drive). A valid driver’s license is required.
