We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Affairs Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Medical Affairs Specialist at ICON, you will play a crucial role in providing medical and scientific support, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the successful execution of medical affairs activities.
What you will be doing • Provide medical and scientific expertise to support the development and execution of medical affairs strategies and initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and timely review of scientific materials, including promotional materials, medical education programs, and publications. • Support the planning and execution of advisory boards, investigator meetings, and medical conferences to engage key opinion leaders and advance scientific understanding. • Assist in the development of medical communications materials, including slide decks, manuscripts, and scientific presentations, to communicate clinical data and key messages effectively. • Stay abreast of medical and scientific literature, guidelines, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for scientific engagement.Your profile • Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent). • Prior experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related function within the pharmaceutical, biotechNlogy, or medical device industry. • Strong understanding of medical and scientific principles, with the ability to critically evaluate clinical data and interpret scientific literature. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
