Ensure Patient-Centric Digital Tools Are Perfect in Every Language
ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. We're proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical development.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Project Analyst I to join our specialized Language Services team in Bangalore. In this unique role, you will manage the translation and validation of electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments (eCOAs)—the digital tools patients use to report their health outcomes. Your focus will be on meticulously reviewing clinical trial screenshots, coordinating with global vendors, and ensuring every translated element is accurate, compliant, and patient-friendly. This is an exciting opportunity at the intersection of language, technology, and clinical research.
What You’ll Do: The Guardian of Translated Clinical Digital Content
You will be the operational engine for eCOA language projects, ensuring flawless execution from planning to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate screenshots of clinical trial interfaces (ePRO, eCOA) to ensure text, layout, and functionality are correctly localized.
- Manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of eCOA language services projects, adhering to strict regulatory and industry standards (ISO 17100, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Coordinate with translation vendors and language service providers globally to ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Facilitate clear communication across internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Clinicians) and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project timelines, quality metrics, and documentation with a high level of precision.
- Stay informed on industry trends in eCOA, linguistic validation, and digital health tools.
- Carry out assigned project-related responsibilities to support team goals.
Your Profile: The Meticulous Coordinator
You are an organized professional with a keen eye for detail and an interest in the technical side of global clinical research.
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in COA/translation project management, localization, or clinical research operations. Experience with Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) or linguistic validation is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project tracking tools.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
