Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Assist Executive/Engineer to monitor and supervise Inspector performing their daily task.This includes monitor the pre shipment sampling process, verification of inspection or test conducted by pre shipment sections. Assist in enforcing the company rules & regulations and implementation in accordance to ISO and GMP requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Tasks:
Plan & Coordinate Inspection Activities
- Schedule and manage pre-shipment inspections (internal and external) & Marketing Sample Requisitions.
- Handle online sampling and shift-based inspection planning.
- Monitor on-time calibration of measuring equipment.
- Daily release system update: SCM Tracker, e-SR & D365
- Maintenance system: CMMS
Conduct & Verify Tests
- Station monitoring whereby execute and validate watertight, visual, dimension, packing quantity, and weight tests of gloves
- Prepare test pieces for physical property testing with QA support
Manage Documentation
- Record inspection data and produce final reports for QA review
- Daily Update inspection status (PO release) and ensure accurate reporting (Report complete)
- Record AGRR & GRR for all inspectors
Material Handling
- Receive packaging materials according to checklist
- Monitor packaging quality and resolve complaints
- Managing PSI replacement activity including packaging & gloves inventory
Team Leadership
- Provide training, ensure policy compliance, monitor attendance and hygiene.
- Arrange manpower and oversee subordinates' performance
Key Deliverables
- Completed and verified Pre-Shipment Inspection Reports
- Accurate and timely Inspection Data Entry
- Properly prepared Customer Samples & external Inspection readiness
- Compliant and quality-assured Packaging Materials and gloves
- Effective Issue Resolution and Communication with relevant departments
Main Accountabilities
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of pre-shipment inspections
- Maintaining compliance with Work Instructions, hygiene standards, and company policies
- Supporting inter-departmental coordination (QAI, Lab, Packing, Shipping, Production, Warehouse, Sales)
- Leading and managing team performance and training
- Guaranteeing readiness and condition of customer samples and products for release or external inspection.
To carry out other responsibilities as assigned by QA Executive / Engineer or Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Minimum SPM (Certificate / Diploma in Science/ Engineering will be advantage) or relevant
Work Experience:
- Preferably with 5 years of working experience in quality assurance
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- Good Communication Skills in both verbal and written, clear and easy to understand and include listening skills. (Both English and Bahasa Malaysia)
- Leadership skill.
- Ability to plan, organize, lead and provide guidance.
