The Medical Leader Who Bridges Science and Strategy
Senior Medical Manager, Cardiovascular | CSL Seqirus
In the complex world of cardiovascular medicine, scientific data doesn't speak for itself. It needs someone to translate it. To shape it into messages that resonate with physicians. To ensure it reaches the right experts at the right time. To connect the evidence with the people who can actually use it to help patients.
That someone is you.
At CSL Seqirus, we're seeking a Senior Medical Manager to lead medical strategy and scientific engagement across our cardiovascular portfolio. This is a senior role for someone who can translate evidence into impactful medical education, shape scientific exchange with external experts, and partner cross-functionally to advance both patient outcomes and brand objectives.
Applications close March 11, 2026.
THE BASICS
Job Title: Senior Medical Manager, Cardiovascular
Department: Medical Affairs
Location: To be confirmed (flexible arrangements may be available)
Experience: 7+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharma industry
Education: Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or related scientific discipline; advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) preferred
Reports to: Senior Director, Medical Affairs
Application Deadline: March 11, 2026
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Cardiovascular disease remains one of the world's leading health challenges. The science is advancing rapidly. New therapies are emerging. Treatment paradigms are shifting.
But none of that matters if the medical community doesn't understand the evidence—or if patient voices aren't reflected in how we think about the disease.
You'll be the bridge between CSL's scientific evidence and the physicians, researchers, and patients who need it. You'll ensure our medical strategy is scientifically rigorous, externally engaged, and patient-focused.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Medical Strategy
You'll lead and execute the medical strategy for one or more CV products or portfolios, ensuring alignment with country and regional objectives. You won't just follow a plan—you'll help shape it.
External Expert Engagement
You'll build trusted relationships with key external experts. You'll coordinate advisory boards, medical education initiatives, and scientific communications that actually add value.
Scientific Narrative
You'll develop and refine the scientific story for your therapy area. You'll capture actionable insights from experts, identify knowledge gaps, and inform evidence generation priorities—including real-world data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You'll work closely with Brand, Regulatory, Health Economics, and other teams to ensure our plans are medically led and integrated across functions.
Compliance Review
You'll review promotional materials for Code compliance and act as second signatory where required. You'll ensure everything we put out meets the highest standards.
Process Improvement
You'll champion better ways of working. You'll lead cross-functional projects that elevate how Medical Affairs delivers value.
