About the Role
The Business Solution Associate is responsible for assistance with the maintenance and delivery of Business Solutions activities to George Clinical projects, with a general remit as follows.
Your Responsibilities
Business Solutions
· Assist with the administration and maintenance of Business Solutions in support of project activities. - Assist with new user creation/updates, new project creation/updates, and other administrative requests/changes to existing systems
· Co-ordinate periodic system reviews to ensure complete and accurate data is recorded
· Assist with testing of amended system functionality
· Ensure accurate and up to date paper and electronic files for Business Solutions activities.
· Assist with the discovery, selection, and implementation of potential Business Solutions. - Assist with testing of new systems during implementation.
· Assist with the preparation of materials for system implementation.
· Provide Business Solutions overview training to new staff during the induction process.
· Assist in organisation and delivery of training to existing staff on Business Solutions where required.
· Maintain and update Business Solutions ‘Administration Manual’, as required.
· Prepare and co-ordinate stakeholder surveys to track Business Solutions performance; summarise results and prepare recommendations
· Actively participate in the development and maintenance of standards and processes relating to Business Solutions activities.
· Functional expert to George Clinical project staff for Business Solutions activities. - Provide timely and effective systems support to project staff via Business Solutions ‘helpdesk’ and/or other communication medium (eg. IM, Phone call etc.).
Personal Development
· Participate in special projects for provide continuously improve processes, tools, systems and organization.
· Mandatory attendance at core training
· Participate in objective setting, performance management, review of the position and the planning and implementation of personal and career development activities.
· Actively participate in project management, organizational meetings and workshops
· Demonstrate understanding and adherence to The George Institute values.
Training, Quality and Compliance
· Complete mandatory training for this role within specified timelines
· Attend mandatory training sessions required for this role
· Identify resources and training to support learning and development within this role
· Comply with all applicable regulations, guidelines, SOPs and project-specific requirements
· Comply with all designated systems relevant to this role
· Ensure own quality control of all relevant processes and activities performed
· Report and escalate identified risks and issues in areas responsibility according to George Clinical and /or project requirements
Customer Focus and Teamwork
· Attend and actively participate in George Clinical meetings and other internal meetings and activities as required
· Provide input to systems, tools and processes to support continuous improvement
· Share knowledge with others, to facilitate learning and development across the organisation
About You
· Previous experience in the application of systems in support of clinical trials, and a good knowledge of the inputs to clinical trials.
· Previous experience working in a project based commercial environment e.g.: clinical research.
· Should be from life science background with a minimum of 5 years of in the field of clinical research in domain such as PV, DM, CRC and clinical system management
· Experience managing all or either of these systems CTMS, LMS, Argus, and Veeva systems, troubleshooting activities is an added advantage.
· Should understand project management concepts, project management experience would be an advantage.
· Ability to contribute to the process of selecting vendors by evaluating potential vendors, their products, services, and capabilities, and ensuring they align with the organization's needs and objectives.
