We are seeking a meticulous and mission-driven Service Technician to become the technical backbone of our support operations. In this role, you won't just repair devices; you will ensure the reliability and accuracy of the technology that patients and healthcare providers depend on every day.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you will be the expert responsible for the end-to-end technical integrity of ResMed products. Your work directly contributes to patient safety and trust.
- Advanced Technical Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for ResMed devices (CPAP, ventilators, diagnostics) to both internal teams and external customers via phone, email, and Teams.
- Precision Repair & Calibration: Perform repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on medical devices and test equipment, ensuring strict adherence to Australian and New Zealand regulatory standards.
- Quality & Compliance Leadership: Maintain impeccable documentation in our tracking system for full traceability and support Quality Assurance investigations with detailed technical reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance repair processes, reduce failure rates, and contribute to Business Excellence initiatives.

Required Skills & Mindset:
- Exceptional professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong proficiency with computer systems and software (Microsoft Office Suite).

- A passion for technical work and a commitment to continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications (We value experience and training):
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related scientific field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in repairing and servicing medical, electronic, or precision mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality management systems in a healthcare or manufacturing environment.
