End-to-End Clinical Supply Logistics
- Oversee and execute the complete import and export process for clinical trial materials, ensuring full compliance with Taiwanese customs regulations (TFDA), international trade laws (INCOTERMS), and IATA/ADR guidelines for hazardous materials.
- Manage customs clearance, documentation, and duty/tax calculations for time-sensitive clinical shipments, preventing delays that could impact patient dosing or study timelines.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal clinical teams to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
Compliance & Documentation Excellence
- Conduct thorough audits and reviews of all import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of analysis, import permits) to ensure 100% accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Maintain meticulous records of all shipments, customs filings, and compliance documents for audit and inspection readiness.
- Stay proactively informed of changes in local and international trade regulations, updating internal procedures and providing expert guidance to stakeholders.
Issue Resolution & Process Optimization
- Resolve any logistical issues, customs holds, or shipping discrepancies swiftly and effectively, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze logistics performance and identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery reliability for clinical supplies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for trade compliance inquiries from internal teams (Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs).
â Your Profile: Import/Export Specialist Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in import/export coordination, logistics, or trade compliance, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
- Strong, practical understanding of Taiwan customs regulations and global trade compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is required for local documentation and international communication.
