We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Payment Analyst to join our team in a 100% home-based role in Taiwan. In this critical position, you will manage the end-to-end payment process for investigator grants and site fees across our clinical trials. Your Mission: The Guardian of Accurate and Compliant Site Payments
As a Payment Analyst, you will be the operational expert responsible for calculating, validating, processing, and tracking all payments owed to clinical trial sites and investigators. Your precision ensures financial integrity and trust in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Processing & Management
- Manage the end-to-end payment cycle for investigator grants, including calculation of payments based on executed contracts, patient enrollment milestones, and pass-through costs.
- Ensure all payments are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with site-specific clinical trial agreements (CTAs) and ICON SOPs.
- Process payment requests, coordinate approvals, and liaise with internal Finance and external sites to resolve any payment queries or discrepancies.
2. Financial Tracking & Reconciliation
- Maintain and update trackers and systems (e.g., CTMS, Oracle, SAP) to reflect payment status, forecasts, and accruals.
- Perform regular reconciliations of payment records against budgets and contracts, identifying and resolving variances.
- Prepare and distribute payment reports and forecasts to Project Management and Finance teams.
3. Compliance, Communication & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a key point of contact for investigative sites regarding payment inquiries, providing professional and clear communication.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical, Contracts, and Legal teams to ensure payment terms are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payment documentation and records.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the payment workflow.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
You are a meticulous, organized, and numbers-savvy professional who thrives in a structured, process-oriented environment. You are a proactive communicator who understands the importance of accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
Your Required Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance operations, payment processing, or grants administration role. Experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or clinical research setting is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) and experience with financial or clinical trial management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- A team player with a problem-solving mindset.
