We are seeking a proactive Procurement Associate to join our team in China. In this vital role, you will manage and optimize procurement activities for the goods and services essential to global clinical trials. You will be a key link between internal project teams and suppliers, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement solutions that directly support our research objectives and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing
- End-to-End Procurement Support: Manage the procurement process by creating purchase orders, assisting with supplier negotiations, and maintaining positive vendor relationships to ensure the timely delivery of critical goods and services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal clinical and operational teams to understand specific project needs, ensuring all procurement activities are aligned with project timelines, budgets, and goals.
- Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, perform evaluations, and support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Process & Records Management: Maintain accurate procurement records, diligently track order status, and proactively resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or invoices.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes by providing data-driven feedback and practical recommendations based on your hands-on experience.
Your Profile: Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Some prior experience or completed internships in procurement, supply chain management, vendor management, or a related area is preferred.
- This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in procurement within the dynamic life sciences sector.
