JOB PURPOSE
The Production Executive assists the Production Manager in maintaining and troubleshooting daily production processes and product quality deficiencies. You will ensure all production processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements while enforcing company rules and regulations.
This role combines technical problem-solving with process oversight, ensuring production runs smoothly and quality standards are consistently met.

The Production Executive is the person who makes this happen. You monitor processes, investigate quality problems, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure your team performs effectively. Your work directly impacts product quality and operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all production processes are consistent with written work instructions and procedures to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements. Maintain familiarity with all work instructions and procedures in the department and ensure they are regularly updated.
Checklist and Report Review
Ensure all checklists and reports in Production are properly completed by various personnel and reviewed on a timely basis. When exceptions or findings are identified in any checklist or report, ensure they are attended to by the right personnel until problems are satisfactorily resolved or rectified.
Quality Management
Monitor glove quality by regularly reviewing QAI reports and other related department reports. When quality problems arise, investigate further through discussion with relevant personnel including Supervisors, Group Leaders, and departments such as QCP, Compounding, and Engineering Executives. Determine appropriate corrective and preventive actions and ensure they are implemented effectively.
Follow-Up and Verification
When corrective and preventive actions are taken by Supervisors and below for certain problems, follow up to ensure those actions have satisfactorily rectified the issues. Verify that problems do not recur.
Supervisory Oversight
Ensure Supervisors are performing their duties effectively according to their written job descriptions. Provide guidance and support as needed.
Team Training and Development
Ensure production staff at all levels (excluding Executive and above) are competent in performing their duties by organizing and providing regular training, both on-job and classroom-based.
Performance Monitoring
Ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved through proper control of the entire production process. Investigate and discuss with the Production Manager if KPIs are not met.
Process Change Management
Ensure any process deviations or changes are properly documented. Maintain records of all modifications.
Housekeeping and Product Handling
Ensure good housekeeping and proper handling, storage, and preservation of products across all related areas.
Engineering Coordination
Ensure all engineering works are properly planned with Engineering and C&I departments before execution to minimize downtime. For annual maintenance, preventive maintenance, and modification works, ensure plans are agreed and approved by Production and Engineering Managers before works commence. Upon completion, verify that works are carried out satisfactorily.
Preventive Maintenance
Ensure proper preventive maintenance is conducted on all production lines including coagulant, latex, powder, polymer, chlorination, cleaning tanks, GSR, and all other areas in production lines. Also ensure preventive maintenance on supporting equipment including chillers, compressors, and scrubbers on a regular basis.
Additional Tasks
Perform any other tasks assigned by your superior.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Technical Knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot issues systematically by applying related troubleshooting tools. Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
Personal Attributes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Problem-solving mindset with ability to investigate and resolve issues. Effective communication skills for liaising with multiple departments. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proactive approach to identifying and addressing problems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Monitor Production Processes
You will ensure production processes follow established work instructions and procedures. You will review checklists and reports to identify any exceptions or findings that require attention.
Investigate Quality Issues
When quality problems arise, you will investigate root causes through discussion with relevant personnel. You will determine appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Multiple Departments
You will work with Supervisors, Group Leaders, QCP, Compounding, Engineering, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Follow Up on Actions
You will verify that corrective actions taken by Supervisors and below have satisfactorily resolved problems. You will ensure issues do not recur.
Support Team Development
You will organize and provide training to ensure production staff are competent in their duties. You will help build capability across the team.
Coordinate Maintenance Activities
You will work with Engineering and C&I departments to plan maintenance activities and minimize downtime. You will verify that works are completed satisfactorily.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 90 Days
You understand production processes, work instructions, and quality requirements. You have built relationships with Supervisors, Group Leaders, and key stakeholders in other departments. You are able to identify and investigate basic quality issues.
First Year
You independently monitor production processes and identify potential issues before they escalate. You effectively coordinate with multiple departments to resolve quality problems. Your team meets its KPIs consistently.
Beyond
You have contributed to process improvements that enhance quality or efficiency. You have developed your team's capabilities through effective training. You are seen as a reliable resource for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
