End-to-End Clinical Supply Coordination
- Oversee and execute all aspects of shipment coordination, delivery, and inventory management for clinical trial materials (investigational product, lab kits, equipment) across Australia and the APAC region.
- Manage complex logistics activities including temperature-controlled shipments, import/export customs clearance, and critical deliveries to clinical sites, depots, and patients (direct-to-patient).
- Ensure 100% compliance with TGA, international IATA/ADR regulations, GCP, and specific client requirements for clinical material handling and transportation.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the primary logistics liaison between the pharmaceutical client, clinical sites, couriers, vendors, and internal ICON teams (Clinical, Regulatory, Project Management).
- Proactively address and resolve logistical challenges, delays, or discrepancies, implementing immediate corrective actions to prevent impact on study timelines or patient dosing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs, plan resupply strategies, and support clinical site activation.
Process Optimization & Performance Management
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key logistics performance metrics (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, temperature excursions, and cost efficiency to identify and lead process improvements.
- Develop and implement logistical strategies and SOPs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
- Maintain impeccable records of all shipments, inventory levels, and chain of custody documentation, ensuring full audit readiness.
System & Technology Utilization
- Utilize specialized clinical logistics software (e.g., IRT/IWRS, track-and-trace systems) and data analysis tools to manage and monitor supply chain activities.
- Ensure accuracy and real-time updates within all tracking and inventory management systems.
