We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Contract Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team in a 100% home-based role in South Korea. Your Mission: The Guardian of Accurate Contract Financials
As a Contract Analyst, you will manage the end-to-end billing cycle for clinical trial contracts. Your precision ensures that ICON is paid accurately and on time for services rendered, and that our clients receive clear, compliant invoices.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Invoicing & Revenue Processing
- Prepare, verify, and execute accurate invoicing for an assigned portfolio of client accounts, based on complex clinical trial contracts and work completed.
- Utilize electronic processing systems to generate and distribute invoices, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, milestones, and pass-through costs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contract progression and amendments to ensure invoicing reflects the latest agreement.
2. Account Reconciliation & Discrepancy Management
- Perform regular account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies between billed amounts, contract terms, and payments received.
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue Accounting team to ensure timely billing, accurate revenue recognition, and clean financial reporting.
- Proactively identify billing issues and work with internal Project Management and Clinical teams to gather necessary backup documentation.
3. Client Relationship & Financial Stewardship
- Serve as a key point of contact for client finance teams regarding invoicing queries, providing professional and timely responses.
- Balance and maintain positive client relationships through clear communication and accurate financial administration.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, ensuring the monthly billing cycle is completed accurately and on schedule.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
You are a detail-focused, organized professional with a solid understanding of financial processes. You thrive in a structured, independent role and take pride in ensuring accuracy and compliance in every transaction.
Your Required Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in contract analysis, accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial operations role. Experience in a CRO, professional services, or healthcare environment is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract language and financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Professional proficiency in English and Korean is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Ability to work independently from a home office, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
