About the Role
As an Intelligent Automation Senior Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Takeda's digital transformation. By combining deep technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop) with sharp business acumen, you will design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance productivity and drive business value. You will act as a consultant and trusted partner, embedding with business teams to translate their needs into robust, scalable technical realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Leadership: Lead the design and architecture of intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or Appian. Translate complex business requirements into logical, efficient technical workflows.
- Client Partnership & Consulting: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Consult with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, developing and managing a strategic technology roadmap.
- Technical Development & Mentorship: Hands-on development of automations, APIs, and applications using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform components. Mentor and review the work of junior team members, fostering their growth.
- Agile Collaboration & Delivery: Collaborate within agile teams to craft clear user stories, estimate work, and ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality product increments. Manage stakeholder relationships to turn vision into reality.
- Quality & Innovation: Apply a strong understanding of DevOps principles and design thinking to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and user-centric. Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues to implement effective solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop).
- Strong expertise in back-end and API development with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in stakeholder relationship management and consulting, with excellent business acumen and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts (version control, CI/CD, backlog tracking).
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
Preferred:
- Experience building solutions on the Appian low-code platform.
- Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working in virtual/global teams across different time zones and cultures.
