We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Account Manager to own, nurture, and expand our relationships with key existing accounts. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary face of ResMed, responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to drive adoption of our innovative solutions.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship & Account Management
- Act as the primary operational and strategic contact for assigned accounts, representing the full scope of ResMed’s products and services.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to deepen relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve revenue targets.
- Network with senior-level internal and external stakeholders to align strategies and foster long-term partnerships.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive new account development through conversions and expand ResMed’s footprint within your existing portfolio.
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities, working to increase solutions adoption and market share.
- Plan and execute targeted sales strategies in collaboration with product specialists and marketing teams.
Sales Execution & Performance Management
- Lead commercial negotiations for product purchase and supply agreements.
- Work with distribution partners to develop and implement effective sales plans, reviewing performance periodically and taking corrective action to hit targets.
- Utilize multiple data sources to forecast, track, and analyze performance against business goals.
Your Profile: Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive, related experience in a field-based sales or key account management role, preferably within the medical device, healthcare technology, or pharmaceutical industry.
- A proven track record of managing complex accounts, achieving sales targets, and driving business growth.
- A career-level professional with a full understanding of strategic sales, capable of resolving a wide range of issues creatively and independently.
- Complete knowledge of the sales cycle and a demonstrated ability to work with minimal day-to-day instruction on new assignments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
- Deep familiarity with ResMed’s product portfolio and the sleep/respiratory care market.
