Join our Insights, Evidence, and Value (IEV) team in Bangalore as a Research Associate. This is an office-based role where you will be the methodological expert conducting rigorous literature reviews and evidence synthesis. You will ensure the data that informs critical healthcare decisions is accurate, validated, and compliant. This is a pivotal role for a detail-oriented professional passionate about the science behind the science.
YOUR MISSION: THE GUARDIAN OF EVIDENCE INTEGRITY 🔍
You will be responsible for executing high-stakes literature reviews and evidence synthesis projects. Your analytical precision and methodological rigor will directly shape the quality of insights used for Health Technology Assessments (HTAs), systematic reviews, and global market access strategies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 📋
- Evidence Synthesis Execution: Conduct comprehensive, protocol-driven literature reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses with the highest degree of accuracy and minimal bias.
- Methodological Rigor: Perform all stages of evidence synthesis, including complex literature searching across multiple databases, precise data extraction, critical quality assessment, and clear report writing.
- Project & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with global multidisciplinary teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Process Innovation: Contribute to developing and refining best practices, standards, and training resources for the global IEV team.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Uphold stringent quality and compliance standards in all research activities, ensuring all work is audit-ready.
- Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, guidelines, and technological advancements in evidence synthesis and real-world evidence.
YOUR PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 👤
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in conducting systematic literature reviews, evidence synthesis, or project management within clinical research, market access, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in the full lifecycle of literature reviews: protocol development, database searching, data extraction, quality assessment (e.g., Cochrane RoB, GRADE), and synthesis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and methodological quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to present complex data clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with reference management (e.g., EndNote) and project tracking tools.
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
- Direct experience supporting Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) or market access deliverables.
- Experience with statistical software used in meta-analysis (e.g., R, STATA, RevMan).
- Knowledge of additional languages is a strong asset.
