Coordinate the Critical Flow of Clinical Trial Materials

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator II to join our Central Labs (SG Labs) team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and optimize the logistics operations for clinical trial materials, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and timely delivery of samples and supplies that are vital to global research. Your expertise will directly support the integrity and success of clinical studies.
Your Role: Orchestrate Efficiency & Compliance
You will manage complex logistics activities, serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, and implement strategies to enhance supply chain performance for our Central Laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Coordination & Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end coordination of shipments, deliveries, and inventory management for clinical trial materials (including biological samples and lab supplies).
- Ensure strict compliance with international shipping regulations (IATA/IMDG), customs requirements, and maintain impeccable shipping/inventory records.
- Trained in Dangerous Goods handling is highly preferred for managing specialized shipments.
Vendor Management & Problem-Solving:
- Collaborate effectively with freight forwarders, couriers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams to resolve logistics challenges proactively.
- Address and troubleshoot shipping delays, customs issues, and other supply chain disruptions to maintain study timelines.
Process Optimization & Analytics:
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics (costs, transit times, reliability) to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Utilize logistics software, data analysis tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite for tracking, reporting, and planning.
Your Profile: Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping (import/export), and inventory management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and inventory management principles.
