🔬 JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Analytical Scientist to lead physicochemical method development and validation within our Analytical Sciences group. You will apply your technical expertise to develop, qualify, and validate analytical methods for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), bispecifics, and antibody fragments, supporting batch release and characterization in a biosimilar-focused environment.
đź“‹ KEY DELIVERABLES
- Lead method development, qualification, and validation for biosimilar projects using advanced analytical techniques:
- Chromatography:Â SEC-HPLC, RP-HPLC, CEX, NP-HPLC (glycan analysis)
- Capillary Electrophoresis:Â Maurice CE-SDS, cIEF
- Biophysical Analysis:Â DLS, DSC, CD spectroscopy, SEC-MALS
- Spectrophotometry:Â UV-Vis, fluorescence
- Characterize structural attributes of mAbs and related molecules, with optional experience in Mass Spectrometry and higher-order structure assessment.
- Ensure accurate purity and identity assessment for mAbs, bispecifics, receptor fusions, and antibody fragments.
- Apply statistical software (GraphPad, JMP) for data analysis and method validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Process Development, Quality Control, and Regulatory teams to support product development and filing.
- Maintain strong documentation and adhere to GMP/GLP standards.
👤 YOUR PROFILE
âś… ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in physicochemical method development for biosimilars.
- Proven expertise with HPLC (SEC, RP, CEX), capillary electrophoresis (Maurice), and biophysical techniques.
- Strong understanding of monoclonal antibody structure, function, and critical quality attributes.
- Experience with statistical tools (GraphPad, JMP) for data analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to work in cross-functional teams.
🌟 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with mass spectrometry for protein characterization.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines for method validation.
- Familiarity with regulatory submissions for biosimilars.
- Ability to lead a small team or technical projects.
