Join our dynamic Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) as a Senior Executive in Molecular Biology and Cell Line Development. This is a pivotal hands-on technical role where you will directly contribute to the creation of advanced cell lines for novel therapeutics, serving innovative biopharma partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Molecular Cloning & Vector Construction
- Perform and lead all cloning-related activities using various modern molecular biology techniques and technologies.
Cell Line Development for Complex Biologics
- Drive the development of stable mammalian cell lines for a diverse portfolio, including Biosimilars, Monoclonal Antibodies (Mabs), Bispecifics, Fusion Proteins, and Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs).
- Execute and optimize large-scale transient transfections to support rapid protein production for early-stage development.
Technical Execution & Data Analysis
- Independently plan, structure, and execute complex experiments.
- Conduct rigorous analysis and interpretation of experimental data to guide project decisions and ensure robust clone selection.
Laboratory & Resource Management
- Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure the laboratory is equipped with necessary reagents, consumables, and equipment.
- Oversee and maintain in-house laboratory inventories to ensure seamless project continuity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements:
- B.Tech, M.Sc., or M.Tech in Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, or a closely related life sciences field.
- 3 to 5 years of direct, hands-on experience in mammalian cell line development within a biopharma, biotech, or relevant contract research/CDMO laboratory.
- Demonstrated practical expertise in molecular cloning, vector design, and construction.
- Proven experience in developing cell lines for complex molecules (e.g., Mabs, Bispecifics, ADCs).
- Hands-on experience with large-scale transient transfection systems.
- Strong skills in experimental planning, execution, and data analysis.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in a CDMO or client-serving environment.
- Familiarity with high-throughput screening methods and automation.
- Knowledge of analytical methods used for clone characterization (e.g., titer analysis, product quality assessment).
- Proven ability to manage laboratory workflows and contribute to process optimization.
