🎯 THE POSITION
This role is your entry into the world of biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will be responsible for completing critical manufacturing tasks in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and Roche’s quality policies. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to the production of life-changing therapies.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⚙️ Manufacturing Operations & Compliance
- Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by performing assigned tasks to meet production goals.
- Execute activities including equipment preparation, cleaning, sterilization, solution preparation, and operation of bioprocessing equipment.
- Conduct raw material sampling, dispensing, and environmental monitoring while maintaining strict cGMP and safety standards.
- Prioritize tasks and document all work accurately per approved manufacturing formulae.
🔧 Process Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.
- Operate computerized systems for process control and data entry.
🤝 Team Collaboration & Safety
- Participate in shift meetings and collaborate closely with team members and support groups.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely; report incidents and near misses promptly.
- Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts, overtime, and handle loads up to 25kg as required.
👤 QUALIFICATIONS
✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Fresh Graduate with a degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, OR a Diploma/NITEC in a relevant field.
- Diploma holders: Minimum 3 years of experience. NITEC holders: Minimum 7 years of experience. Biologics experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-starter with a focus on safety, quality, and detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with computer-based systems.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

- Background in microbiology, fermentation, or protein purification.
