Job Description
As a QC Analyst Apprentice, you will be at the heart of ensuring product quality and safety within our state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical facility. This is a fixed-term traineeship designed to provide hands-on experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, where you will perform critical laboratory analyses, support sample release, and contribute to the operational excellence of our Quality Control team.

đź“‹ CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform analytical testing of in-process samples, Bulk Drug Substance (BDS), water systems, cleaning validation, and raw materials to support product release.
- Ensure all testing is conducted timely and in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP standards.
- Conduct equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure laboratory instruments are operational and qualified.
- Perform review and approval of QC records, logbooks, and analytical data.
- Assist in the revision of SOPs and laboratory forms to reflect current best practices.
- Ensure safe handling, disposal of laboratory waste, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Support document archival, project activities, and inspection readiness preparations.
🔄 GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping in the Analytical and Raw Material laboratories.
- Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives such as GEMBA walks and GMP audits.
- Assist the QC Supervisor during internal and external compliance audits.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Commit to Takeda’s Code of Conduct and promote a respectful, fair workplace.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
👤 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
- A keen interest in building a career within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- No prior experience required—comprehensive training will be provided.
