Novartis is hiring an Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team in Singapore. This is an entry-level position responsible for producing pharmaceutical products by executing assigned activities according to production schedule. Full training provided.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Production Execution
- Perform manufacturing activities according to production schedule
- Follow GMP, work, operating, environmental, and safety instructions
- Complete batch record reviews within required timelines
Equipment and Area Maintenance
- Clean, prepare, and sterilize production equipment and rooms properly and on time
- Maintain production area housekeeping including cleaning, tidiness, and 5S organization
- Perform daily checks of manufacturing equipment, support devices, and rooms
Process Support
- Handle sampling, aliquoting, distribution, and in-process controls
- Manage consumables supply including filters, resins, connections, bags, reagents, gas, and working cell banks
- Execute complex setups and changeovers of machine components and format parts
Problem Solving
- Provide first-level support for equipment issues
- Escalate when necessary
Training
- Participate in on-the-job Equipment Operator training
- Share knowledge with team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Sciences
- Proficient in English
- High level of conscientiousness and care
- Strong attention to documentation, order, and cleanliness
- Technical and process understanding with troubleshooting ability
Desirable
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Team player with good spirit

TYPICAL DAY
- Check production schedule for assigned activities
- Perform daily equipment checks
