WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
ResMed's connected devices generate vast amounts of data about how patients use their therapy. This data holds the key to improving outcomes—identifying when patients struggle with adherence, helping clinicians intervene earlier, and optimising therapy for better results.
The Therapy Optimisation Services team builds products that turn this data into action. We create services that help patients stay on therapy, help clinicians make better decisions, and help ResMed deliver on its mission of improving lives through better sleep and breathing.
The Associate Product Manager supports this mission by helping define, build, and deliver services that make a tangible difference to patients and providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User, Data and Market Understanding
Develop a foundational understanding of patient, provider, and operational needs related to therapy optimisation. Support user research, data analysis, and insight synthesis to inform service design and prioritisation. Learn to interpret product, clinical, and behavioral data to understand therapy outcomes and adoption patterns. Stay curious about emerging trends in digital health, data science, and AI/ML applications in healthcare.
Product Definition and Support
Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for therapy optimisation services. Support discovery activities by helping frame problems, documenting insights, and validating assumptions. Translate high-level product direction into clear, actionable inputs for engineering and data science teams. Contribute to roadmap discussions and prioritisation decisions with analysis and supporting data.
Execution and Delivery
Partner with engineering, data science, and design teams during delivery to ensure requirements are understood and outcomes are met. Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery ceremonies. Help track progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across initiatives. Assist with testing, validation, and readiness activities for new services or features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work collaboratively with data scientists, ML engineers, clinicians, UX designers, and platform teams. Learn to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. Support alignment across teams building services that operate across multiple device platforms.
Learning, Growth and Contribution
Build foundational product management skills across discovery, delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Seek feedback, mentorship, and learning opportunities to grow product judgment and confidence. Contribute positively to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Experience
1–3 years of experience in product management, data analytics, engineering, research, healthcare, or related fields. This role is open to early-career professionals with the right foundational skills and curiosity.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to learn from data and user insights. You are comfortable working with numbers and patterns, and you want to understand what the data is telling you about how products are performing.
Technical Curiosity
Interest or exposure to data-driven products, analytics, AI/ML, or digital health solutions. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you should be curious about how models work and what they can do. Comfort working with technical teams and interest in how systems and services work.
Communication
Clear written and verbal communication skills. You can explain ideas to different audiences and contribute to discussions with engineering, design, and clinical teams.
Education
Degree in a relevant field such as engineering, data science, computer science, health sciences, or similar is preferred but not required. We value skills and curiosity over formal credentials.
