Drive the successful delivery of groundbreaking clinical research. ICON is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to lead and coordinate clinical projects from planning through to completion in China. In this office-based role, you will be the central point of accountability, ensuring trials are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ultimately contributing to the development of new medical treatments.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the project leader, responsible for the end-to-end management and successful execution of clinical trials.
Project Leadership & Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for clinical trials.
- Lead cross-functional project teams (Clinical, Regulatory, Data Management), ensuring clear communication and collaboration to meet study objectives.
- Monitor project progress vigilantly, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to keep the trial on track.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to ICH-GCP guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant experience in clinical project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing clinical trials from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage project teams and prioritize complex tasks effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and managing diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science, project management, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies; certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
