Key Responsibilities
You will be a technical leader in an agile team, responsible for building scalable, high-performance digital health applications.
Full-Stack Development & Architecture:
- Deliver high-quality user experiences using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, Java, TypeScript).
- Build systems of medium-to-high complexity, ensuring responsive design and optimal performance for global users.
- Create architectural diagrams, define system integrations, and establish development best practices.
Technical Leadership & Quality Assurance:
- Set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies using tools like Jest, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Guide the team in developing products aligned with Takeda's data governance framework and strategy.
Collaboration & Innovation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and implement system integrations using various protocols (REST, GraphQL, Kafka).
- Stay current with emerging technologies and cloud platforms, particularly AWS serverless and PaaS offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong full-stack background.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, Node.js, Java, and HTML/CSS.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with AWS cloud platform (serverless, PaaS) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices.
Essential Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams.
- Business acumen and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
