Key Responsibilities
You will be the logistics expert ensuring compliant and efficient international shipment of clinical trial materials.
Trade Compliance & Documentation:
- Oversee end-to-end import and export processes, ensuring accurate documentation and customs clearance in compliance with international trade regulations.
- Conduct audits of import/export documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to applicable laws and ICON policies.
- Stay current with changing trade regulations and provide guidance on best practices for international shipping.
Logistics Coordination & Issue Resolution:
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of global shipments.
- Proactively resolve logistics issues related to shipments, customs holds, and trade compliance discrepancies.
- Manage the logistics pipeline to prevent delays in clinical trial timelines.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in import/export coordination or international logistics.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in import/export documentation and processes with exceptional attention to detail.
