Medical Review Excellence
- Conduct comprehensive medical review and assessment of adverse event reports from clinical trials and post-marketing sources worldwide
- Perform detailed ICSR (Individual Case Safety Report) medical reviews across all therapeutic areas, ensuring high-quality outcomes and regulatory compliance
- Provide expert medical judgment in causality assessment, expectedness determinations, and case seriousness evaluations
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of global regulatory reports through meticulous medical review
Safety Surveillance & Strategy
- Stay current with emerging safety concerns and medical literature to enhance safety surveillance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proactive risk management strategies and risk minimization measures
- Contribute to preparation of essential safety documents including periodic safety reports, risk management plans, and regulatory responses
- Participate in signal detection and evaluation activities to identify potential safety concerns
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the medical expert within Case Management and across Global Patient Safety (GPS) operations
- Provide technical leadership and medical guidance to case processing teams and safety specialists
- Collaborate with clinical development, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs teams on safety-related matters
- Support internal and external audits with medical expertise and documentation

Essential Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with active medical license
- Board certification or equivalent experience in relevant medical specialty (internal medicine, pharmacology, or related field)
