About the Role
As an Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Takeda's digital transformation. By combining technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop) with sharp business acumen, you will design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance productivity and drive business value. You will act as a consultant and trusted partner, embedding with business teams to translate their needs into robust, scalable technical realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Design and build intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or Appian, translating business requirements into efficient technical workflows.
- Client Partnership: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, consulting with clients to identify automation opportunities and develop strategic technology plans.
- Technical Implementation: Hands-on development of automations, APIs, and applications using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform components.
- Process Optimization: Analyze business processes, recommend improvements, and implement automation to drive efficiency and digital enablement.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work effectively within virtual/agile teams across different locations and cultures, using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on professional experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop).
- Strong experience in API and back-end development with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to work in virtual/global teams and adapt to different work styles.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, 'winning as a team' attitude.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
Preferred:
- Experience building solutions on the Appian low-code platform.
