🎯 JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Risk & Business Continuity Management to architect and lead our enterprise resilience strategy. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and maintain our risk management and business continuity frameworks, ensuring the organisation proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks while embedding a robust culture of risk awareness and operational continuity.
đź“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔄 Risk Management Framework & Implementation
- Develop, update, and govern the enterprise risk management framework, risk appetites, and targets.
- Establish and implement effective processes for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across the organization.
- Implement risk management initiatives, including risk facilitation workshops and advisory support to risk owners.
- Design and maintain tools, processes, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor risk exposure and impact.
đź“Š Reporting, Audit & Governance
- Review risk reports from risk owners and advise on the design of effective risk mitigation programs.
- Perform timely audits to assess the effectiveness of risk controls and mitigation actions.
- Document and manage formal reporting structures for the escalation of critical risks.
- Organise and facilitate half-yearly reviews with the Risk Management Working Group and Committee.
🧠Culture & Capability Building
- Build and embed risk awareness and a resilient culture across the organisation.
- Develop and drive risk awareness programs, training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and facilitation exercises.
- Responsible for publishing the Risk Bulletin / Newsletter to promote continuous engagement.
🏗️ Business Continuity Management
- Develop and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework, Policy, and SOPs.
- Plan and conduct the annual business continuity test plan for all business units.
- Coordinate yearly Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and maintenance reviews of all business continuity plans.
👤 YOUR PROFILE
âś… ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Accountancy, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, business continuity, or a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of risk management fundamentals (ERM & BCM) and relevant frameworks (ISO 31000:2018 & ISO 22301).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven analytical, report-writing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Independent, self-motivated, and capable of engaging effectively with all staff levels.
🌟 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional risk management certification (e.g., CRMP, ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager, CBCP) is a strong advantage.
- Experience within manufacturing, production, or a highly regulated global supply chain environment.
