🎯 JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to perform breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects across our entire NGC (Next Generation Complex) premises. This hands-on role covers Production, QA, Warehouse, Utilities, Compounding, and Office areas, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment efficiency in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🛠️ Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Carry out breakdown, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects across all Hartalega NGC facilities.
- Perform electrical panel isolation, troubleshooting, wiring work, and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) for all isolation tasks.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify machines to minimize downtime and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
- Ensure burners, tooling, and plant equipment operate efficiently and execute annual maintenance on schedule.
🔄 Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Be ready for on-call duties and shift work, providing timely feedback to superiors on outstanding issues.
- Ensure high-quality work, adherence to standards, KPI achievement, and ISO-compliant documentation.
- Encourage teamwork and liaise with other departments/plants for cross-functional activities.
- Rectify internal and external customer complaints promptly.
👥 Training & Development
- Attend relevant training programs and support other plant maintenance activities as instructed.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by superiors while following company rules, policies, and safety practices.
👤 YOUR PROFILE
✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent.
- PW2, AO Certificates will be an advantage.
- 1 year of experience in electrical/mechanical related industry preferred; fresh graduates with good attitude and initiative are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Positive traits: Optimistic, willing to learn, punctual, initiative, teamwork-oriented, positive attitude, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to multitask.

- Experience in manufacturing, utilities, or facility maintenance.
- Familiarity with LOTO procedures, preventive maintenance systems, and safety standards.
- Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
