We are looking for a Cost Accounting Manager, Financial Business Partner to join the Finance team at CSL Behring Broadmeadows (BMW). Reporting to the Director, Finance Business Partner, you will focus on establishing and supporting BMW non-plasma operations, including production planning, forecasting, budgeting, efficiency improvement, and functional spend tracking.
This role partners with functional leads to provide reliable, timely, and meaningful financial analysis and insights that drive business decisions, while meeting the financial performance reporting requirements of the CSL Group Finance team.

đź“‹ Your Responsibilities
- Act as Business Partner to BMW operations business functions, with a focus on non-plasma operations.
- Develop reporting, insights, and analytics to drive better business decisions and clarify financial impacts.
- Provide stakeholders with financial performance analysis vs. forecast/budget, explaining variances and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Establish product costing for non-plasma operations, collaborating with the Product Cost Hub, MDG, and Planning teams for process harmonization.
- Manage annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including cost center planning and financial evaluation of operational improvement initiatives.
- Control inventory, review provisions and write-offs, understand stock in-transit, and minimize cost of write-offs.
- Define and deliver ad-hoc and routine reporting that meets internal customers’ needs.
- Support improvement of financial systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring consistency and standardization across CSL sites.
- Support Federal and Victoria State Government Grants submissions and Biosecurity audits, including audit preparation and process streamlining.
👤 Your Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA/advanced degree or CPA/CMA certification desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of Finance experience with extensive Management Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent business partnering skills with ability to challenge, advise, and support decision-making while maintaining strong relationships.
- Experience with Lean methodology (Six Sigma).
- Relevant experience in a multi-national organization.
- Proven ability to translate financial analysis into practical departmental actions.
- Strong team collaboration, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills.
