We are currently seeking a Statistical Programmer II to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Statistical Programmer II at ICON, you will play a vital role in the development, validation, and execution of statistical programs to support clinical trial analysis and reporting. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate interpretation of clinical data, helping to ensure the successful delivery of research projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Services rendered will adhere to applicable SOPs, WIs, policies, local regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP, etc.
- Clear communication with partnering departments: Data Management, Statistics, Statistical Programming and Bio-analytical providers.
- Ensures quality NONMEM input data (accurate, valid and complete) is provided to the Pharmacometrics Leaders within projected timelines for low to medium complexity projects.
- Keeps oneself inspection ready and knowledgeable for current work by complying with relevant training requirements.
- Programming and QC of NONMEM PK/PD datasets based on SDTM/ADAM datasets.
- Follow up and QC of outsourced NONMEM datasets.
- Prepare submission projects per internal PM guideline.
- QC of existing, customized R packages used for standardization of Pharmacometric works (build testing suite of customized packages).
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a statistical programmer (R+SAS) within the clinical research industry, with strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and programming.
- Experience programming and QC of NONMEM PK/PD datasets based on SDTM/ADAM datasets
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python, with experience in clinical data management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
