🎯 Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
Strategic Legal Advisory
- Provide expert legal advice on head office business initiatives including:
- Corporate Transactions – Tax, Finance, Treasury, Capital Management
- Corporate Regulatory Compliance and Investigations
- Risk and Compliance (including Speak Up matters)
- Corporate Property Transactions
- Executive Remuneration, Share Plans, and Compliance reporting
- Review and approve Investor Materials, annual reports, and corporate communications
- Ensure adherence to ASX and Corporations Act compliance
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Identify and assess potential legal risks with proactive mitigation strategies
- Enhance the company's compliance framework
- Manage and resolve corporate disputes, including litigation and arbitration
Contract Management & Collaboration
- Draft, review, and negotiate head office contracts and agreements
- Work collaboratively with CSL stakeholders across finance, HR, and operations
- Align legal strategies with business objectives
- Conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters
⭐ Your Profile: Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from accredited law school
- Current Practicing Certificate in Victoria
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate law within legal department or reputable law firm
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, transactions, and governance
Technical Expertise
- Experience with ASX and Corporations Act compliance
- Knowledge of corporate regulatory compliance and investigations
- Background in corporate transactions and governance
- Understanding of executive remuneration and share plans
