Your Mission: Learn, Process, and Ensure Patient Safety
As a Pharmacovigilance Associate (Fresher), you will be trained to become an integral part of our drug safety team. Your primary focus will be on the accurate and timely processing of safety reports, ensuring Lambda and our clients meet the highest standards of global regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core ICSR Processing & Data Management
- Perform pharmacovigilance case processing, including duplicate search, validation, and data entry into safety databases.
- Learn and apply drug coding (WHO-DD) and MedDRA coding for adverse events.
- Assist with listedness assessment, causality assessment, and expediting determinations under guidance.
- Contribute to the writing and review of case narratives.
2. Compliance, Documentation & Training
- Learn and adhere to Lambda SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and global regulatory guidelines (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA).
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and professional communication logs.
- Participate in internal training sessions and, in time, help train new joiners on basic processes.
3. Team Collaboration & Process Support
- Collaborate closely with the ICSR Team Leader and Group Leader to ensure 100% regulatory compliance for timely case processing.
- Support the development and review of departmental SOPs and training documents.
- Stay updated on basic pharmacovigilance regulations and intelligence.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
You are a recent graduate with a foundational knowledge of life sciences and a keen interest in pharmaceutical regulations and patient safety. You are meticulous, eager to learn, and thrive in a structured, process-oriented environment.
Your Required Foundation:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Experience: This is an entry-level position designed for Freshers. No prior pharmacovigilance experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy—essential for data integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn specialized safety databases.
- A proactive learner with the ability to follow detailed procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
