We are seeking a meticulous and language-proficient Document Translation & Localization Associate to join our team in Ahmedabad. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation and translation of essential clinical trial documents, ensuring they are culturally and linguistically appropriate for participants. Your work will directly support ethical compliance and clear communication in vital clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Preparation & Translation: Accurately translate and prepare project-related Informed Consent Forms (ICFs) and other supportive clinical documents from English into vernacular languages, specifically Gujarati and Hindi.
- Quality Control & Verification: Perform meticulous comparison and verification of translated and back-translated documents to ensure meaning, context, and technical accuracy are perfectly preserved.
- Linguistic & Compliance Review: Ensure all translated documents are written with clarity, appropriate grammar, syntax, and correct medical terminology. You will maintain a style and format that adheres to Lambda’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all applicable ICH-GCP and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree (Any Graduate).
- Exceptional command over both English and Gujarati languages is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi is also essential.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in translation, linguistic review, document preparation, or a related field within a clinical research, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting is preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Linguistic Excellence: Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail to ensure flawless accuracy in terminology and meaning during translation and comparison tasks.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to comprehend and accurately translate complex medical and clinical terminology.
- Process-Oriented: A strong understanding of the importance of SOPs and compliance in clinical documentation.
