We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Clinical Nurse or Paramedical Officer to join our Clinical Research Unit team. Your Mission: Ensure Participant Safety & Procedural Excellence
You will be responsible for executing critical clinical and paramedical procedures, managing the clinical environment, and providing direct nursing care to participants in our studies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Procedures & Participant Care
- Perform accurate measurement of vital signs (BP, ECG) and conduct phlebotomy for blood sample collection.
- Act as a primary nurse during screening and throughout all clinic procedures, providing continuous care and monitoring.
- Assist in dosing-related activities and medication administration as per protocol.
- Serve as a clinical custodian, assisting participants with meals, bedding, and bathing to ensure comfort and compliance with study requirements.
2. Medical & Emergency Operations
- Manage ICU operations within the clinical unit and execute emergency procedures proficiently (e.g., RT insertion, Foley’s catheterization).
- Assist in the calibration of medical instruments such as sphygmomanometers, cardiac monitors, and ECG machines.
- Ensure the safe disposal of biological waste generated in the clinical department.
3. Clinical Unit Management
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all clinical areas.
- Manage stock and inventory for paramedical supplies, phlebotomy materials, and other clinical consumables.
- Organize and perform all assigned paramedical activities efficiently and in accordance with SOPs.

Your Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- 5 to 7 years of robust hands-on experience in a hospital ICU, emergency department, clinical research unit, or similar acute care setting.
- Proven expertise in:
- Vital signs monitoring and ECG.
- Advanced phlebotomy techniques.
- Basic life support and emergency nursing procedures.
- Patient care and monitoring.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and bio-waste management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team-oriented, proactive, and responsible attitude.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Prior experience in a clinical research organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical clinical trial unit.
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or other relevant emergency care credentials.
- Experience with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines.
