Govern the Data Foundation of Global Clinical Research
At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) driven by a simple truth: high-quality, well-managed data is the bedrock of every successful clinical trial and therapy approval.
We are seeking a meticulous and collaborative Senior Data Governance Analyst specializing in Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM). In this pivotal remote role, you will be an operational engine within our Data Governance Enablement team. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of our most critical data assets—Investigator, Site, Study, and more—enabling reliable analytics, streamlined operations, and compliance across Parexel’s global enterprise.
Your Mission: Operationalize Data Excellence
You will translate data governance strategy into day-to-day reality. Your focus will be the hands-on management of MDM/RDM processes, issue resolution, and collaboration with global data stewards to create a single source of truth for Parexel’s master and reference data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management of MDM/RDM Processes
- Execute the day-to-day activities for managing and curating master and reference data across key clinical domains (e.g., Investigator, Site, Study).
- Support the implementation of the MDM/RDM roadmap, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new data models, processes, and system functionalities.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for Data & Technology (D&T) development teams.
- Maintain alignment across MDM/RDM assets, data catalogs, and lineage documentation.
2. Proactive Data Quality & Issue Resolution
- Monitor, investigate, and triage data quality issues, collaborating with business and technical teams to implement root-cause fixes and process improvements.
- Ensure master and reference data processes adhere to established governance policies, business rules, and stewardship expectations.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for data maintenance, change control, and workflow enhancements.
3. Global Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with global data stewards, business partners, D&T teams, and governance peers.
- Act as a key liaison and subject-matter expert for cross-functional initiatives requiring MDM/RDM expertise.
- Maintain clear logs and communication pathways for data owners to facilitate swift decision-making and issue escalation.
4. Drive Innovation & Ensure Compliance
- Contribute to the evaluation of future MDM/RDM tools, capabilities, and strategic enhancements.
- Assist in reporting key metrics, KPIs, and adoption indicators to demonstrate value and progress.
- Ensure all data management practices align with data privacy, protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and clinical research compliance requirements.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
