The Global People Business Advisor Portfolio Lead connects and serves as a vital link between global people team members within a function, partnering with Strategic People Business Partners to manage projects and provide support for workforce planning and transformation activities. This role requires urgency, accountability, and a bias for actionâsomeone who anticipates needs, follows through, and delivers results.
In this role, you will mentor junior advisors, support Global Supply Chain teams, and ensure leaders receive objective, empathetic, and effective people guidance.
đ Job Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Strategic People Business Partners to develop and execute People strategies that align with culture, company direction, and growth needs.
- Collaborate with specialist groups to ensure effective program development and tool implementation that drive business goals.
- Apply knowledge of People programs, policies, employment law, performance management, change management, and org design to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
- Lead and contribute to talent and org design initiatives for the portfolio.
- Mentor and influence local advisors in executing global portfolio needs.
- Leverage data and analytics to perform diagnostics, evaluate needs, and develop actionable plans.
- Conduct analysis on initiatives and monitor org hygiene data to identify trends and areas of concern.
- Lead and attend global meetings across time zones and travel as required.
đ¤ Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 6â10 years of Human Resources Generalist experience required.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with a can-do, action-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, business partnering, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communicationâable to present, influence, and facilitate.
- Understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience in continuous learning and process improvement within a complex matrix organization.
- Workday experience preferred.
- High level of personal integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability.
