ResMed’s Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) team is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Category & Commercial Manager to lead supplier management and commercial strategy for our critical ERP Transformation Program (Ignite). In this high-impact role, you will manage business-critical IT suppliers, optimize costs, and ensure effective contract and relationship management to support ResMed’s transformation and BAU operations.

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement IT Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with project teams, legal, finance, and IT stakeholders to drive well-governed procurement processes that align with ResMed’s strategic objectives.

🤝 Supplier & Contract Management

Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for suppliers supporting the ERP Transformation Program (Ignite) and BAU operations, ensuring governance, performance, and spend optimization.
Partner with senior leaders and project teams to align vendor engagement with business needs and contractual obligations.
Oversee contract compliance, ensuring vendors meet milestones, deliverables, and cost-efficiency targets.
Advise the ERP Transformation Program Director on contract management, commercial risks, and vendor performance.

📊 Strategic Procurement & Category Management

Develop and execute category management strategies aligned with ResMed’s operational and strategic goals.
Drive commercial and cost-control strategies to ensure sustainable value and optimization across supplier engagements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and project teams to refine procurement policies and procedures.
Negotiate complex commercial agreements to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency.

💡 Stakeholder Collaboration & Cost Management

Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on procurement decisions for large-scale IT transformations and BAU needs.
Extract business requirements, manage RFP processes, and lead negotiations with strategic suppliers.
Maintain deep insight into cost structures, contractual frameworks, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies.
Influence decision-making across the organization to ensure strategic alignment and procurement best practices.

👤 LET’S TALK ABOUT QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field (MCIPS / ISM certification preferred).
10+ years of procurement experience with a strong track record in large-scale, complex contracting models.
Expertise in supplier relationship management (SRM), contract negotiations, and category management.
Proven ability to drive commercial value, manage risk, and optimize procurement strategies.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with senior stakeholders in legal, finance, and IT.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.

Experience with IT transformation projects, ERP implementations, or SaaS/cloud procurement.
Background in healthcare, medical devices, or technology sectors.
Familiarity with global procurement regulations and compliance standards.
