Job Description
Job Purpose
Manage all factory utility systems (energy, water, compressed air, steam, etc.) to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations while optimizing costs and promoting sustainability.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and optimize energy, water, and utility systems across the factory.
2. Lead preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities.
3. Comply with regulatory requirements from DOSH, DOE, SPAN, LUAS, Gas Malaysia, and TNB.
4. Plan and execute shutdowns, projects, and utility interruptions.
5. Approve utility parameters, budgets, expenditures, and contracts.
6. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
7. Drive operational excellence, reliability, and efficiency (OEE).
8. Develop a team of engineers and technicians, including training and certifications.
9. Review KPIs, reports, and proposals to align operations with business objectives.
10. Collaborate with management and other departments on procedures, projects, and process improvements.
