Amplify the Impact of Quality & Regulatory Projects in Medical Technology
At our company, we are dedicated to developing medical devices that save and improve lives. The Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QARA) team is the backbone of this mission, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy for patients worldwide.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative summer intern to become the storytelling engine for our critical QARA projects. This is not a typical marketing internship; you will be at the intersection of cutting-edge medical technology, global compliance, and strategic communication, learning how to translate complex technical work into compelling narratives that engage a global internal audience.
Your Mission: Be the Voice of a Mission-Critical Team
As the QARA Project Communications Intern, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the visibility and understanding of our most important quality initiatives. You will help ensure that every team member, from engineering to manufacturing, understands how their work contributes to our patient-centric mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and execute a scalable monthly content plan (including newsletters, digital spotlights, and visual updates) to showcase the QARA team's progress and impact across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in creating clear, engaging presentations and communication materials for global stakeholders, learning the nuances of communicating in a regulated environment.
- Process Documentation & Improvement: Collaborate with team members to document workflows and support the exploration of automation and AI tools to enhance project efficiency and communication.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the QARA team and other departments (IT, Manufacturing, Product Development) to help coordinate and communicate process improvements.
About You: The Ideal Candidate
You are a proactive communicator who is fascinated by how storytelling drives engagement in a complex, technical field.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. (We also welcome students from Engineering or Science backgrounds with a proven passion for communication.)
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- A confident, self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn about Quality/Regulatory systems and project management.
Bonus Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, project management platforms like Jira/Confluence, or emerging AI-powered content tools.
- An interest in the healthcare, biotech, or medical device industry.
Your Summer of Learning & Impact:
This internship is designed to be a rich, hands-on learning experience. You will have the opportunity to:
- Gain Industry-Recognized Skills: Build practical expertise in project communications, stakeholder engagement, and digital content creation within a world-class medical technology organization.
- Understand a Regulated Industry: Get unparalleled exposure to Quality and Regulatory Affairs (QARA)—a critical, high-demand function in medtech that few students ever get to see from the inside.
- Develop a Professional Portfolio: Create real-world content and presentations that you can showcase to future employers.
- Present to Leaders: Hone your professional presentation skills by sharing your work and project updates with diverse internal audiences.
Why Intern With Us?
- Meaningful Work: Contribute directly to projects that ensure the safety and effectiveness of life-changing medical devices.
- Supportive Culture: Join a team that is challenging, supportive, and invested in your professional growth. We thrive on diverse perspectives and innovative ideas.
- Network & Mentorship: Build connections with professionals across various functions in a global company.
If you are a creative and driven student eager to apply your communication skills to a purpose-driven mission, we encourage you to apply.
