Hartalega is seeking a Clinical Research & Usability Specialist to act as the vital link between the clinical environment and our product development teams. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) for gathering user insights, shaping new product pipelines, and ensuring our medical devices meet the real-world needs of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the voice of the end-user, supporting the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and user needs assessments in clinical settings through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with Product Development and Business Development teams to translate user insights into actionable product features and improvements.
- Prototyping & Testing: Support the creation and validation of functional prototypes, gathering and analyzing user feedback to drive iterative design improvements.
- Product Launch & Monitoring: Assist in launching new products and monitor their post-market performance, identifying opportunities for continuous enhancement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical teams, and other stakeholders critical to new product introduction.
- Quality Management: Uphold job authorities as defined in all Quality Management System (QMS) related documents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or an equivalent field.
- Certification: Must be registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital or medical setting.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a strong advantage.
- Specialized Knowledge: Medical knowledge in CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department), OT (Operating Theatre), or Dialysis is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
