🎯 Your Clinical Mission: Key Responsibilities
Expert Clinical & Surgical Support
- Provide exceptional clinical expertise and surgical support for Cochlear's product portfolio (Nucleus® cochlear implants & Baha® bone conduction systems) in key Malaysian accounts
- Conduct device integrity testing and communicate results effectively to audiologists, surgeons, and patients/families
- Offer technical guidance during implant procedures and post-operative management
- Serve as the clinical expert during product launches and professional training sessions
Stakeholder Engagement & Education
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including ENT surgeons, audiologists, and purchasing departments
- Identify training needs and design customized programs to enhance clinical capabilities across partner institutions
- Educate healthcare professionals on patient candidacy, device selection, surgical procedures, and post-implantation management
- Coordinate and assist with research studies and clinical trials in collaboration with Cochlear teams and clinical partners
Business Growth & Market Intelligence
- Partner with Business Development Manager to implement strategic business and marketing plans that drive sales targets and revenue objectives
- Provide crucial market intelligence and competitive information to shape effective customer approaches
- Execute clinical plans that enable hearing professionals and clinics to better support hearing-impaired patients
- Contribute to Cochlear's mission of increasing access to life-changing hearing solutions across Malaysia

Essential Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Audiology, Biomedical Sciences, or Health Sciences field
- Clinical certificate of competency (ASA/AcAud or equivalent)
- Registration with Malaysian professional registration board
- Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical application/development roles
Clinical Competencies
- Strong clinical background with understanding of audiological assessments and hearing technology
- Experience in clinical settings with ability to support surgical procedures
- Knowledge of hearing implant technology and patient management protocols
- Technical proficiency in device testing and troubleshooting
