In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft BI stack and SQL to develop comprehensive reporting solutions that support business growth and operational excellence across our global manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the technical expert for BI solutions, bridging business requirements with data capabilities to drive informed decision-making.
BI Development & Data Management:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and SSIS/SSRS reports to meet business reporting needs
- Conduct BI data modeling and development using global standard BI tools
- Implement and monitor daily data loadings, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Support the full solution lifecycle from development and testing through daily operations
Business Analysis & Collaboration:
- Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless support for both software and hardware
- Support test design, functional testing, and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Coordinate patching and upgrades with business and IT teams
Your Skills and Experience
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence development
- Proficiency in Microsoft BI stack (SSIS/SSRS/Power BI) and T-SQL/SQL
- Experience with data analytics, BI concepts, and Power BI Desktop
Required Skills:
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts effectively
- Experience with systems development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Data profiling and troubleshooting expertise
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
