About the Role
The Senior FP&A Manager is a pivotal leadership role within our finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. You will be the strategic finance partner to senior executives, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support organizational growth. You will collaborate with the Business Unit CFO to drive financial performance, create actionable insights, and lead the financial narrative for the organization. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader passionate about the intersection of data, strategy, and healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Insight & Partnership
You will translate financial data into strategic guidance, partnering closely with leadership to steer the business.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning:
- Analyze financial data to create robust forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans aligned with company strategy.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, conducting scenario/sensitivity analysis and assessing ROI for new projects.
- Monitor KPIs, conduct variance and pipeline analysis, and report on business performance to highlight trends and improvement areas.
- Coordinate with private equity investors and the Board, providing critical analysis and insights.
Performance Reporting & Collaboration:
- Present findings to senior management and the CFO, acting as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure financial plans reflect operational realities and drive performance.
- Lead the continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting within the finance team.
About You: The Strategic Finance Leader
You are an analytical, business-savvy leader with a proven track record in a complex, global environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with extensive expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
- Prior experience in a regulated environment (CRO, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global, hybrid/remote work environment.
- Proficient in financial systems; familiarity with Salesforce and Certinia is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to BI/reporting tools are essential.
