About the Role: Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is critical in providing strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision support for our global clinical trial operations. You will develop models, analyze project profitability, and partner with business leaders to drive performance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Your Responsibilities: Strategic Finance Partner
1. Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting
- Assist with month-end/quarter-end financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and project-level performance.
- Lead variance analysis, preparing management reports that highlight key business drivers and trends.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting processes, and preparation for forecasting reviews.
2. Business Partnership & Decision Support
- Partner with Business Development on sales performance, key metrics, and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with Operations and SG&A teams to provide financial insights, track KPIs, and support data-driven decisions.
- Support pricing strategies, cost management, and margin analysis for clinical trial projects.
- Assist in developing financial presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
3. Process Improvement & Systems
- Optimize financial systems and tools (ERP, BI dashboards – e.g., Certinia, Salesforce, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI) to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and enhance financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and industry regulations.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or corporate finance.
- Preference for experience within clinical research (CRO), healthcare, or life sciences.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP and BI systems (e.g., Certinia, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with revenue recognition, cost accounting, or project-based financial analysis is a plus.
